Create an application

Applications in the FireTail platform are used to group and manage your APIs. Creating an application allows you to organize your APIs, assign ownership, and apply custom tags.

1. Navigate to Applications in the FireTail platform.

2. Click Create Application.

3. Enter a name for the application.

4. Assign Owners to the application (Optional).

5. Add Custom Tags:

• Click Add Tag.
• Enter a Key and a Value for each tag.

6. The following options can be toggled on or off:

• Propagate Custom Tags: Automatically inherit tags for any API created under this application.
• Propagate Owners: Automatically inherit owners for any API created under this application.

7. Click OK to create the application.
