Azure Inventory

Integrate with Azure for API discovery and event logging.

Integrate
Azure Inventory

The Azure API Inventory integration enables FireTail to scan and automatically discover API resources within your Azure environment. This provides complete visibility and control over your cloud-based APIs, ensuring they are monitored for security and performance. By consolidating API data in FireTail, you streamline management, gain detailed security insights, and improve API risk mitigation.

Key benefits:

  • Discover Azure-hosted APIs and populate them within the FireTail platform.
  • Regular scanning ensures continuous inventory updates, supporting real-time monitoring.
Integrate
Azure Inventory

The Azure API Inventory integration uses Azure’s application registration, subscription management, and IAM role assignments to enable FireTail to scan and retrieve your API resources.

FireTail connects to your Azure environment using the credentials you provide (Tenant ID, Client ID, Client Secret, Subscription ID) and collects API data, which is then populated into the selected FireTail application.

You can configure the scan frequency to ensure that your API inventory stays current, allowing you to monitor and secure APIs in real time.

To set up the Azure API Inventory integration, you’ll need:

  • An Azure account with the necessary permissions to create app registrations and manage roles.
  • Tenant ID, Client ID, Client Secret, and Subscription ID from your Azure environment.

Complete the integration in the FireTail platform by entering the necessary Azure credentials and other required details.
